About
Adrian and Meredith Band is a Nashville-based Bohemian swing-folk act built around rhythm, movement, and the shared experience of live music. Led by married troubadour duo Adrian and Meredith Krygowski, the band draws from Americana, swing, soul, polka, and global folk traditions, while avoiding rigid genre boundaries.
With Adrian and Meredith, you never dance alone. Meredith’s old-time fiddle and percussive dance (often at the same time) invite audiences back into a freer, more visceral experience, while Adrian sings from a deeply human place, relating how much more alike we are than different, grounding the songs in empathy and connection.
Anchored by Ben “The Odyssey” Reiff’s inventive, rhythm-driven drumming and John Kveen’s driving upright bass, the band delivers a dynamic and flexible live sound. Syncopation and swinging rhythms, call-and-response vocals, in what Carson City Levitt has described as a “world class performance” from Adrian, Meredith, and longtime saxophonist and guitarist Ken Francis Wenzel create engaging, all-ages entertainment that welcome audiences from many backgrounds.
Their music has taken them across Europe, where they have performed for Ukrainian refugees, also in Poland, Lithuania, Latvia, Estonia, Sweden and Germany, using shared songs and movement to create moments of worldly connection and solidarity.
In America, they have appeared at the Grand Ole Opry as guests with The War & Treaty, Folk Alliance International, and Performing Art Centers nationwide, where dancing is not only welcome but often inevitable. Their shows thrive on interaction, with the band responding to audience energy and shaping each night in real time. Every show is as unique as they are.
